The Core Credit Union office in Statesboro's Market District was robbed Wednesday.
A man with a gun robbed a second credit union Wednesday morning, following an arrest made in Tuesday’s armed robbery of Geovista Credit Union on South Main Street. Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said a lone gunman entered Core Credit Union’s Market District branch around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, demanded cash, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.” No one was injured in either robbery.
