SYLVANIA - Tickets for a Sylvania holiday concert featuring The Annie Moses Band are on sale now for $7 a ticket.
The Juilliard-trained family band of six siblings will perform a Christmas concert on Tuesday at the Screven County High School Auditorium in Sylvania.
The Annie Moses Band are award winning songwriters and musicians who have been featured in two PBS specials, on Daystar, and Inspiration TV, said Annora Mallard with Bay Branch Baptist Church, sponsor of the holiday concert event.
The band includes Annie Wolaver, lead singer/violinist, and her five siblings, Alex (viola), Benjamin (cello), Camille (harp/keyboard), Gretchen (violin/mandolin), and Jeremiah (guitar and banjo).
Add the veteran song writing talents of their parents, Bill and Robin Wolaver, Mallard said, and you have a dynamic group with roots in classical, pop, and jazz. Together, they are leading an artistic renaissance in the Church, she said, through musical excellence, strength of family, and a message of faith.
Tickets can be purchased for $7 at the door or prior to the event at Queensborough Bank in Sylvania, the Middle Baptist Association or online at
Pre-concert festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7 p.m.
