Rep. Rick Allen to hold veterans town hall
Rick Allen
Congressman Rick Allen

Congressman Rick Allen will host a town hall meeting specifically for veterans Wednesday in Statesboro.
The forum from 5:30-6:30 p.m., at American Legion Post 90, on Rucker Lane just off U.S. Highway 301 South, is designed specifically to address the needs of veterans in Georgia's 12th Congressional District, said the announcement from Allen's staff.
Veterans will hear from Allen and be able to visit one-on-one with him and staff members.
Veterans also will have the opportunity to receive assistance with casework or a federal agency, the announcement said.
"I look forward to visiting with veterans of the 12th District and hearing more about their needs," Allen said.
"These men and women truly deserve all the support and resources they have earned. I am happy to host this town hall so that these men and women can voice their concerns, meet with members of my staff and receive help with a federal agency closer to home."
If veterans with needs or concerns are unable to make this town hall meeting, they can contact Paul Lynch, constituent services representative and military liaison, in Allen's Statesboro district office at (912) 243-9452.
