As part of its ongoing program of recognizing historic locations in Bulloch County, the Bulloch County Historical Society will unveil the 17th and latest marker in the series at 3 p.m. Thursday on Georgia Highway 119 in Stilson.

The two-sided Stilson marker tells of the impact of the Savannah & Statesboro Railroad on the development of the town as well as some of its earliest leaders and a number of its notable sons and daughters.

The public is invited to attend.
