A reportedly homeless man with Portal connections is missing, and Portal police Chief Jason Sapp hopes someone can help locate him. David Jakob Johnson, 22, formerly of Portal, was last seen on Dec. 28, Sapp said. Johnson is believed to have been living in a homeless camp behind Statesboro’s Kmart.
