Sheriff's investigators are seeking a Portal man wanted on marijuana distribution charges.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Ray Walker Sr., 60, of Pecan Grove Mobile Home Park, Bulloch County Sheriff Noel Brown asks that they call Investigator Ben Leinhard at (912)764-1786.

Warrants for Walker's arrest on charges of marijuana possession with intent to distribute were issued Monday after members of the Bulloch County Crime Suppression Team executed a search warrant for Walker's home at Lot 10 of Pecan Grove Mobile Home Park off Old Portal Highway, he said.

CST members investigated after receiving reports of "multiple complaints about drug activity and other quality of life issues in and around the mobile home park," Brown said. "The investigation and search warrant resulted in the recovery of marijuana, scales and packaging materials."

Brown did not disclose the exact amount of marijuana seized.

He complimented the CST members in working with other law enforcement agencies to combat drug and other crimes and asked that anyone with any information on crime contact the Sheriff's Office's CST division at (912) 764-1786 or (912) 764-8888.
