The called meeting of the Portal City Council, slated for tonight, has been canceled due to the death of council member Keith Brown, said Portal City Clerk Eva Pitts. Brown died Wednesday morning, she said.
The meeting is rescheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m.
