Statesboro police are seeking information on a suspect who robbed a woman early Tuesday morning at gunpoint.
The victim allowed four men into her Eagle Villas apartment around midnight Tuesday morning, Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said. She only knew one man, and only by an alias.
"The males then robbed her at gunpoint. The victim cooperated with the suspects and there are no reported injuries as a result of the incident," he said.
After being shown photographs of possible suspects, the victim told Statesboro Police Det. Kevin Wadley one man shown was the suspect she knew by an alias. Turner did not disclose the alias.
"Statesboro Police (Department) needs the community's help in identifying the suspect," he said. The suspect's photo is also posted on Statesboro Police Department's Facebook page.
Anyone with information concerning this case is asked to contact Detective Kevin Wadley at (912) 764-9911. Anonymous tips may also be left at www.tipsoft.com or by text. Start the message with "TIPSSPD" and send it to
