Sylvania Police Arrests
s Gavin Maurice Williams, 23, Sandhill Lane-Disorderly city ordinance, possession of marijuana, public drunkenness.
s Shaliek Jiyhen Adams, 17, Thompson Street-Disorderly conduct.
s Christopher Browne, 18, Sylvania-Possession of marijuana.
s Christopher J. Gregory, 23, T-Perkins Road (Statesboro)-Probation violation.
s Antorreo Jaquan Rich, 23, Johnson Drive (Statesboro)-Failure to appear for trial or court appearance.
s Joseph Keith Burnsed, 31, Highway 17 South (Bloomingdale)-Conspiracy to possess a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, DUI of drugs.
s Charles Gordon Ethridge, 67, Vicki Lane (Rincon)-Conspiracy to possess a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

Sylvania Police Incidents
s FIRST STREET-A woman said a man who was ordered to stay away from her residence had come, and when she wouldn't let him in, kicked down her door.
s HIGHWAY 301-A man who drove up to a license and registration checkpoint told officers he was driving with a suspended license.
s SOUTH MAIN STREET-A complainant said a male driving a silver Ford Taurus pumped $25.94 in gas but failed to pay, but before pumping he had swiped his Bi-Lo bonus card, leaving officials with the last four digits of his card number.
s PEACHTREE CIRCLE-A man on foot was stopped by officers, when they found two joints in a cigarette box and a bag of marijuana down the street a few feet from where he came.
s THOMPSON STREET-When officers tried to speak with two subjects sitting in a parked van, the driver began cursing and refused to take his hands out of his pockets.
s NORTH MAIN STREET-A woman came home to find her door kicked in and her house appeared ransacked.
s HALCYONDALE ROAD-A young man was found walking down the high school driveway with a backpack when school was getting out. When officials questioned him, they observed his bloodshot eyes and proceeded with a search, finding a marijuana joint rolled up among one dollar bills.
s SOUTH MAIN STREET-At a license and registration check, a vehicle pulled up where the driver told officers his license was suspended. He told officers he had an addiction to opium and was using meth to help with the withdrawal. During a search, officers found numerous items and drug paraphernalia related to the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

s David Kasie Callison, 21, Union Church Road-Aggravated assault on law enforcement, battery-family violence, battery/simple battery-family violence, simple battery, criminal trespass, interference with an emergency phone call, obstruction of officer.
s James Anthony Miller, 26, Mathews Road (Statesboro)-DUI of alcohol.
s Tyrome Lewis Martin, 41, Savannah Highway-DUI of alcohol.
s Tyrone Jackson, 32, Farmdale Road-Driving while license suspended/revoked.
s Curtis Lamont Johnson, 42, Hagin Circle-Contributing to delinquency of minor, failure to show proof of insurance, switched or fraudulent plates, obstruction of officer, endangering life of child with DUI, reckless driving, DUI of alcohol.

Screven Sheriff's Incidents
s HUNTER ROAD-A woman stated that items stored in her mother's house were missing, including a flat screen television, cd/dvd player, and two television stands.
s HOLLY ACRE ROAD-A man said someone broke into a trailer of his and stole the furnace and central heating and air unit. The point of entry was observed to be the front door, as it was kicked open by the offender.
s OAK STREET (Newington)-A woman said an offender came onto her property in a drunken state and entered the back door of her residence, acting very disorderly. Upon arrival, officers said they found a witness holding a piece of wood that was said to be taken from the offender, who was stated to be in an extreme state of intoxication.
s BRINSON LOOP-Someone reported the barbed wire fence at his front gate was cut and four wheeler tracks were found.
