Statesboro Police Department
KMART - An elderly woman was charged with shoplifting $55 worth of unspecified merchandise.
MINCEY STREET - A woman told police someone shoved and slapped her. She was given advice on taking out warrants.
COMMERCE DRIVE - A cab driver called police about a rider who was intoxicated and belligerent and who refused to pay a fare. The offender was arrested for theft of services and public intoxication.
BELK - A shoplifter was arrested after stealing $40 worth of underwear.
WAFFLE HOUSE/NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST - A man and woman argued, then fought physically before he took her car without permission and fled. Police advised the woman on seeking warrants.

RANDY LOWERY ROAD - A woman told deputies her ex-boyfriend sent her threatening text messages.
OLD RIVER ROAD NORTH - A woman told deputies a man who lives on the same property as her but in a different dwelling trespasses around her home, and she suspects he has taken items that are missing.
HIGHWAY 80 EAST - A woman called deputies after she and her cousin argued about his mother's lunch. He was angry because she fed his mother Spaghetti O's and fed her 30 minutes earlier than her normal lunchtime. The man told deputies that he told the complainant to cook something else for his mother, who suffers from dementia, because she did not want Spaghetti O's. The complainant said she did not want to stay at the home any longer and left, leaving the man to care for his mother.
MILL CREEK ROAD - A woman said her ex-boyfriend chased her, trying to run her off the road, and boxed her in. Family members arrived and made him leave her alone. She said he waits outside her workplace and follows her.
ROSCOE LAIRCEY EXTENSION - A woman said a man constantly harasses her and her family by yelling obscenities and knocking on her door at all hours.
HIGHWAY 46 -A man reported a yellow 50cc Suzuki dirt bike and push lawn mower were stolen from his shed.
CREEKSIDE COVE - A man stepped on broken glass in his living room and found where someone had shot through a window. He found a bullet on the floor, he said.

Officers issued 15 traffic citations and eight traffic warnings and assisted five motorists Friday through Sunday.
Georgia State Patrol
Troopers investigated 23 crashes with 12 reported injuries and no reported fatalities Friday through Monday.
