Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    Joe Benton Brown, 47, South Wynn Road — probation violation.
    Javontay Lamiles Turner, 24, Sandhill Lane, Sylvania — wanted person (Sylvania Police).
    Mia Chonney Newsome, 23, Highway 80 East, Brooklet — simple battery.

Statesboro Police Department
    Yaheed Tyquan Brooks, 24, Lanier Drive — parole violation, wanted person (Emanuel County).
    Leon Hagins, 43, Mikell Street — suspended license, tag/registration violation, no insurance.
    Quashon Shentell Palmer, 31, Bolton Street, Glennville — theft by deception, bench warrant.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    GEORGE ROAD — A woman said she entered into a “temporary intimate relationship” with a man she has known several years. She said the man sends her threatening texts and harasses her as well as her children, since he lives near their school bus stop.
    BETHEL CHURCH ROAD — A man reported receiving harassing and vulgar text messages in Spanish, as well as disturbing vulgar photos he said he did not download.
    MALLARD POND ROAD — A man called 911 everal times, claiming someone came up through his floors and walls and entered his home. He said they were in his closet; he saw a light and fired a warning shot into the closet but no one came out. He said he saw someone in a blue hoodie outside his home and heard them “apply pressure” to a window. Her told deputies these events were linked to his vehicle being reported stolen a while back, but it was returned.

Statesboro Police Department
    DONNIE SIMMONS WAY — Two juveniles at an alternative school were engaged in a fight. Police responded and turned them over to guardians.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued no traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted four motorists.
    SOUTHERN PINES APARTMENTS — Someone reported a theft.
    Officers also responded to a separate call for a verbal altercation.
    EAGLE VILLAGE — Someone reported a suspicious person.
