Arrests
    Alfonzo Antonio Gilmore, 22, East Jones Avenue — failure to report an incident.
    Kenneth Walter Shuman, 27, Grady Johnson Road —leaving the scene of an accident (hit and run), DUI of glue or another inhaled intoxicant.
    Paige Nichole Grant, 22, Zetterower Avenue — theft by shoplifting.
    Zoe Marika Van Gorder, 23, South Main Street — theft by shoplifting.
    Christopher L. Bennfield, 29, Lanier Drive — no proof of insurance, suspended license.

Incidents
    U.S. HIGHWAY 80 WEST — An officer “put down” a deer that had been struck by a car and was suffering in the roadway.
    MONARCH 301 APARTMENTS — A woman said her ex-boyfriend harassed her by text, making threats.
    THE FORUM — A woman said someone took food that belonged to her and threw it outside in a trash bag.
    WALMART — A woman reported a wallet stolen from her vehicle.
    WILDWOOD VILLAS — A woman said an argument with a man turned physical and he took her phone when she tried to call 911.

    Christopher Raymond Fuller, 45, Georgia Highway 23, Twin City — seat belt violation, suspended license.
    Walter Darryl Horton, 48, Cross Creek Farm Road, Brooklet — sale of a Schedule II controlled substance (morphine).
    Lisa Marie Kendricks, 51, Cross Creek Farm Road, Brooklet — sale of a Schedule II controlled substance (morphine).
    Willette Billie Zetterower, 69, Cross Creek Farm Road, Brooklet — sale of a Schedule II controlled substance (morphine).
    Socorro Jiminez, 31, U.S. Highway 301 North, Claxton — no driver’s license.
    Antonia Lee Key, 43, Miller Street Extension — simple battery.

Incidents
    COURTNEY WAY — (Statesboro) A woman reported the theft of headphones and a camera from her home.
    BURKHALTER ROAD — A GPS unit and pepper spray were stolen from a car.
    PECAN GROVE CIRCLE — (Portal) A man and woman argued over his allegedly taking several pills. Both were intoxicated, and the woman said the man struck her during an argument over his going to the emergency room. The man denied taking pills or striking the woman.
    DYCHES ROAD — (Statesboro) An employee of Excelsior Electric Membership Corporation reported that someone tampered with a meter to obtain power illegally.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
Arrests
    Officers issued two traffic citations Wednesday.
    Tatyana Nikkia Bennett, age and address not provided — impeding the flow of traffic, failure to maintain lane and DUI (refused test).  

Incidents
    Officers issued eight traffic warnings and assisted two motorists Wednesday.
    CENTENNIAL PLACE — Officers responded to, mediated and resolved a domestic dispute.
    BIOLOGY BUILDING — Officers responded to the report of a smell of natural gas. Maintenance staff also responded. The building was checked with no problems found.  
    SOUTHERN PINES — Officers responded in reference to a drug complaint.  One occupant was judicially referred to university officials for a drug violation.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — one accident call, one fire call and 11 medical calls.
    Candler County EMS — three medical calls.
    Evans County EMS — five medical calls.
 
    Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Wednesday: 32 hang-up calls to 911, a call to Bulloch Humane Enforcement, two calls to Bulloch County First Responders, two calls to Evans County First Responders, a call to Air Evac and a call to Poison Control Center.
