Police Report - 9-21-13; A student reported a pair of New Balance tennis shoes stolen.

    Debra Ann Davis, 39, Institute Street — criminal trespass.
    Conner Patrick Tierney, 19, Pintail Court, Martinez — underage possession/consumption of alcohol, public intoxication.

    STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — A student reported a pair of New Balance tennis shoes stolen from a gym locker.
    CHANDLER ROAD — A woman reported a purse and contents stolen from a car.
    HONEY BOWEN BUILDING — A man reported heavy smoke coming from a men’s bathroom. Police are investigating and the report states the fire is a result of arson.
    THE LODGE APARTMENTS — A woman said her husband threw her down, but there were no signs of injury, reports stated. She was arrested because she threw his clothes in the trash and on the ground.
    GAME STOP — A woman reported someone pawned a stolen iPod, and warrants were issued for the person responsible.
    ASPEN HEIGHTS — A woman said her roommate pulled a knife on the complainant’s boyfriend during an argument.

    Angela Jeanine Maynor, 42, Carlton Road, Garfield — obstruction, wanted person.
    Khalid Fateen Smith, 22, Whispering Pines Boulevard — obstruction of an officer.
    Miriam Yvette Williams, 50, Garfield Street — probation violation.
    Christopher Lavon Evans, 23, Gus Denmark Road — second degree criminal damage to property, burglary.

    TOO SHORT ROAD — (Pembroke) A man found two dogs in his chicken coop killing chickens, so he shot the dogs. The dogs’ owner was called to the scene and said she understood his having to kill the dogs.
    SPRING CREEK ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said he believes his ex-wife stole his car title and said she has been texting him against his wishes.

    Officers issued four traffic citations Thursday.
    Preston Deionte Pettigrew, 19, Georgia Avenue — underage possession of alcohol and obstruction of an officer.

    Officers issued five traffic warnings and assisted 10 motorists Thursday.
    J-LOT — Officers responded to a loud verbal altercation. One man was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and obstruction of an officer.  Two other persons were judicially referred to university officials for punishment. 
    RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER - Officers responded to three alarms — fire alarm and pump failure.  Maintenance responded.  No problems were found.
