STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Bianca S. Taylor-Bell, 22, Crane Lane — felony theft by shoplifting.
    Jonathan Lanier Edenfield, 24, Georgia Highway 56 North, Swainsboro — battery.
 
Incidents
    THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN — A woman reported the theft of a Wii console and accessories, a watch and wallet with contents. Someone has used her credit cards as well, she said.
    WALMART — A man shoplifted an oil filter but was not apprehended.
In a separate incident, a woman stole a felony amount of baby clothes and supplies and was arrested.
    COLLEGE PLAZA — Someone damaged a Coke machine and stole $75.
    PARRISH STREET — A woman said she saw a man to whom she had served criminal trespass notice leave her home as she arrived home.

Arrests
    Brenda L. K. Brown, 46, Murfield Drive — simple battery.
    Caleb Daniel Brown, 20, Park Avenue — marijuana possession.
    Charles Benjamin Dixon, 71, Bell Road, Brooklet — truancy.
    Dareon Lamar Shefton, 20, Waynesboro Highway, Sylvania — simple battery.

Incidents
    HIGHTOWER ROAD — (Statesboro) Someone reported theft of books of checks.
    BOWEN RUSHING ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said unauthorized electronic payments were made to his ex-wife and to a utility company.
    OLD RIVER ROAD NORTH — (Statesboro) A man said someone poured sand into a truck motor.
    CLIPONREKA ROAD — (Clito) A man reported the theft of a firearm and listed two former employees as suspects.

Arrests
    Officers issued three traffic citations Wednesday.
    Sergio LaKeith James, 23, Hazelhurst — seat belt violation, giving false information.
    Alexanderov A. Markov, 18, Acworth — possession/use of drug related objects.
    Justin Shane Moss, 22, Ludowici — opening doors to moving traffic, DUI (refused test) and obstruction.
    Christopher Michael Fleck, 22, Midway — disorderly conduct, felony obstruction.

Incidents
    Officers issued five traffic warnings and assisted six motorists.
    HENDERSON LIBRARY — Someone stole a textbook left unattended at the Henderson Library.  
    UNIVERSITY VILLAS — Officers responded in reference to a person threatening to punch a Parking and Transportation employee.  The incident was resolved at the scene.
    FAST & EASY — Officers discovered an intoxicated person on the sidewalk across from the store.
