STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    David Wilson Johnson, 21, Impala Court — theft of services, public intoxication.
    Antwan Davontae Jenkins, 20, Chandler Road — reckless driving, too fast for conditions, stop sign violation.
    James Benjamin Hart, 20, Cancun Court — reckless driving, underage possession of alcohol.
    Kevin Devon Parrish, 21, Gilgall Road, Sylvania — wanted person, disorderly conduct, obstruction.
    Eric Lavance Duren, 22, Julie Lane, Midway — public intoxication.
    Anthony Jerome Mercaldo, 24, Talons Lake Drive — suspended license, taillight violations.

Incidents
    PLATINUM LOUNGE — An officer saw a man arguing with security “in a tumultuous manner.” The offender cursed and refused orders to leave, and was arrested.
    In a separate incident a man was struck by a beer bottle thrown across the room and was treated at the hospital for visible injuries.
    UNIVERSITY POINTE APARTMENTS — A woman claimed to have been held at gunpoint and made to drive to several locations. She asked that a report not be made.
    JOHNSON STREET — A woman said another woman has been harassing her for a month. Officers gave her advice on seeking a warrant.
    ASPEN HEIGHTS — An intoxicated man could not remember where he lived and would not pay a $63 cab bill. He was arrested.
    PACKINGHOUSE ROAD — A juvenile suffered visible injuries and said four or five youths jumped him as he walked home from school.
    BRAMPTON AVENUE — A man reported the theft of two TVs, two laptop computers, a guitar, an Apple TV device, a PlayStation 3 and games.
    ST. CHARLES PLACE — A man and woman argued over the woman’s suspected drug use. She said he slapped her face.
    INSTITUTE STREET — Someone reported shots fired, and police found a bullet casing that was taken into evidence.

Arrests
    James Travis Barnes, 34, Brewton Collins Road, Claxton — probation violation.
    Christopher Lyn Elliott, 42, English Oaks Mobile Home Park — battery.
    Antonio Redell Hill, 33, Grady Johnson Mobile Home Park — fleeing/attempt to elude, obstruction, failure to maintain lane, suspended license, seat belt violation, speeding, hit and run, reckless driving, stop sign violation.
    Brent Jason Rogers, 27, U.S. Highway 80 West — simple battery.
    Karen Louise Scusa, 56, Princess Lane — theft by shoplifting.

Incidents
    TUSCANY TRAIL — (Statesboro) A man and woman said two roommates awakened them, trying to get them to fight. Marijuana and alcohol were involved. Two were arrested.
    HENDRIX CIRCLE — A man was arrested after someone reported a physical altercation during a domestic dispute.
    LANGSTON CHAPEL MIDDLE SCHOOL — (Statesboro) A student was arrested for marijuana possession.
    PRINCESS LANE — (Statesboro) A woman texted another incessantly, threatening to take her son because she was not caring for him properly.
