Police report, 8/29/19
A man received a check for over $2,600 from a company called “Intershop,” after participating in a Wal-Mart survey. He found the check fraudulent and reported it, concerned that elderly and other people would be targeted in the scam.

▲ BRANNEN DRIVE — A man received a check for over $2,600 from a company called “Intershop,” after participating in a Wal-Mart survey. He found the check fraudulent and reported it, concerned that elderly and other people would be targeted in the scam.

▲ EAGLE BOULEVARD/RAVEN LANE — Deputies responded to a reported altercation involving simple battery and disorderly conduct. No arrests resulted, but a report was made.

▲ BRINSON ROAD — Someone reported a burglary. Reports did not include additional details.

▲ PEG-WEN BOULEVARD — Officers responded to a missing juvenile report. The child was located and returned to parents.

▲ EAST JONES AVENUE — Police responded to a report of an unruly juvenile. Officers contacted the Department of Juvenile Justice after a complainant reported the child verbally and physically abusive.
