▲ HERSCHEL DRIVE — A resident said someone broke in, but took nothing.

▲ J&T MINIT MART — The store owner found a pouch in a cabinet in the bathroom that contained a small amount of methamphetamine and smoking devices. The contraband was disposed of by the Crime Suppression Unit.

▲ BRANNEN STREET — A person was arrested for making threats and being intoxicated in public.

▲ JOHN’S PLACE — A verbal disagreement at breakfast ended with two people engaging in a physical fight.

▲ VALLEY ROAD — A woman reported WIC vouchers stolen.

▲ FAIR ROAD — A woman said someone scratched, beat and tried to hurt her. The offender was arrested.

▲ WOODLAND DRIVE — A woman said her roommate’s boyfriend knocked on her bedroom and bathroom door and opened her bedroom door with a knife.

▲ CARMEL DRIVE — Someone called police to a domestic dispute that the parties involved said was only verbal.

▲ INSTITUTE STREET — A man who police arrested for public intoxication broke the officer’s body camera magnetic plate.

▲ HIGHWAY 301 NORTH — A man and woman argued because she was taking her children to the beach. Someone called police.

▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET — Someone reported an attempt to break into a home.

▲ JAX AND GRACE BOUTIQUE — Someone stole several $7 bracelets. Employees knew the customer, who was located and returned the items, then was cited for shoplifting.

▲ MILL RUN APARTMENTS — A person trying to plug in electric blankets for another person caused a tall lamp to fall on the victim’s head. The victim did not wish to press charges.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A man who had been banging on people’s doors was found passed out in front of storage units. He was charged with public intoxication.

▲ ENMARKET/NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST — A man left without paying for a 24-pack of Budweiser beer. He was not apprehended.

▲ FLETCHER DRIVE — A woman said a man dragged her down stairs, injuring her elbow, grabbed her laptop and tried to grab her phone when she called 911. Warrants were to be issued.

➤ Georgia State Patrol Post 45

▲ Last week, troopers investigated 22 crashes with 21 reported injuries and arrested eight drivers on DUI charges. They also issued 18 citations and four warnings for seatbelt citations, one child restraint warning, and 18 citations and 21 warnings for speeding. One wanted person was apprehended.
