Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

MIDDLEGROUND PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH - Deputies questioned two people in a suspicious vehicle that was sitting without headlights on at the church. A female passenger was found to be intoxicated and in violation of probation, with an outstanding warrant. She was taken to jail.
BURKHALTER ROAD - A woman discovered a fraudulent account in her name with Excelsior Electric Membership Corporation that had been established when she was 4 years old.
EMERALD DRIVE - A man said someone cut a barbed-wire fence on his property and trespassed on horseback to his river landing.
THE LANDINGS/BURKHALTER ROAD - A woman reported the theft of a sign from the subdivision.
CHARLIE LANE - Someone reported a burglary. Reports gave no details of the incident.
STARLING ROAD - A woman reported a burglary but said although it appeared someone broke in, nothing was taken.
DOLLAR GENERAL/HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH - A woman tried to have money put on a debit card, but her cash was counterfeit. When told the cash was fake, the suspect left without the money. The bills had the same serial numbers and were on heavy paper, reports stated.
HONEYSUCKLE LANE - A resident reported an entering auto incident. Reports did not list items taken.
CHEVRON FOOD MART/HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH and INTERSTATE 16 - A man came into the store, loitered beside a trash can and left behind a book bag on top of the trash can. A clerk found ammunition and other items in the bag that she felt were suspicious.
FERNWOOD ROAD - A woman said a neighbor saw a man jump her fence and approach her home. He questioned the man, who spoke with an Irish accent and said his name was Sean O'Connor. He said he was tracking a lost phone and wanted to find it before his flight back to Ireland. The neighbor told him the tenants of the home were away, and the suspicious man left.
GUINEVERE COURT - Several men were arrested after deputies, hearing gunfire, found them shooting at furniture outside in a neighborhood with a number of residences close by.
WEST FOREST CIRCLE - A woman said she received a text from a man who threatened to kill her when he caught her with another man.
OLD GROVELAND ROAD - A woman said the father of her son moved in to help care for the son and has become abusive. He "got in her face" and told her he had law enforcement relatives and could have her arrested, she said.
MIDDLEGROUND STORE - A woman called deputies to intervene when she and her husband argued over money and his riding with her in her "big truck."
KENDRICKS ROAD - A man and woman argued, and she left to attend a party. He threatened to beat her if she returned, and she told deputies she feared going home.

Statesboro Police Department
THRIFT MALL/WEST PARRISH STREET - Officers responded to a report of theft of services.
STATESBORO MALL - A man and woman argued, and he snatched her keys before removing items from her trunk. He told police she threw a bottle at him.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A woman was arrested for shoplifting $35 worth of makeup.
    In a separate incident, a woman said family members of her estranged husband, who is in jail, jumped on her and her current boyfriend, accusing her of "snitching" on the jailed husband.
STADIUM PLACE APARTMENTS - Police responded to a report of aggravated assault. No further details were listed in reports, except that the case was being reviewed by a detective.
EAST JONES AVENUE - Police responding to a fight saw a large crowd and detained a juvenile who tried to run. He was charged with criminal trespass and obstruction. The Department of Juvenile Justice was notified, and he was returned to his mother.
GNAT'S LANDING - A drunken man who refused to leave and fought with staff was arrested.
GEORGIA AVENUE - Responding to reports of shots fired, police saw a vehicle leaving the scene and did not locate suspects.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued five traffic citations and 15 traffic warnings and assisted one motorist.
