STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Deric Quenton Dedrick, 20, Lanier Drive — marijuana possession.
 
Incidents
    PINE STREET — Officers responded to a report of shots fired, but the people playing loud music at the residence claimed they heard no shots. Since the person who lived there was not present, police asked everyone to leave.
    STATESBORO PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH — A woman reported a purse stolen from a car.
    DONEHOO STREET — Someone stole a plant and stand from an office.
    LA QUINTA INN — A woman who said she ran a group home for girls told police the girls were staying at the hotel when one of them damaged property. The hotel management became angry and evicted the group.
    INMAN STREET — A backpack with papers, medication and identification was stolen.
    RUM RUNNERS — A man said an employee is suspected of stealing $320 over a period of time.
    DEBBIE LANE — A woman reported the theft of a computer, boots, and textbook.

Arrests
    Stacy Fitzgerald Palmer, 37, Lanier Drive — probation violation.
    Dominique Marques Wright, 20, Van Buren Street — probation violation, bench warrant.
    Zachary Alan Altany, 19, Denton Loop — underage possession of alcohol.
    John Randall Harden, 19, McCall Boulevard — underage possession of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle, DUI under 21, failure to maintain lane.
    Geraldo Rodriguez-Zamarripa, 33, Golden Oak Drive, Winston-Salem, N.C. — suspended license.

Incidents
    RYAN’S — An employee said she received counterfeit $20 bills.
    MILL BRANCH CLUB ROAD — Someone broke into a building and stole copper wiring.

    Ariel Michaela Wallace, 19, Orange Boulevard, Palm Harbor, Fla. — underage possession of alcohol.

Incidents
    Officers assisted two motorists Tuesday.
    ZETA TAU ALPHA — Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the house on Olympic Boulevard. It was determined to be set off accidentally by a resident.
    KENNEDY HALL — Officers responded to a fire alarm.  It was determined
there was an alarm malfunction.
    SOUTHERN PINES — A person was seen cutting bicycles from the bike rack. Also, someone reported a bicycle was taken from the Southern Pines bike rack.
