Arrests
    James Rodriguez Blackmon, 30, address unlisted, Pembroke — child support lockup (nonpayment).
    London Gage Usher, 20, Stadium Walk — theft by taking government property.

Incidents
    WALDEN LANE — (Portal) A woman said people trespassed onto her property, fishing in her pond. She fired shots at people who were fishing from a right-of-way, they told deputies. The property owner claimed she was shooting at beavers.
    HAZLEWOOD DRIVE — (Statesboro) A woman reported a Toyota Camry stolen. Another resident reported $5 taken from his vehicle.
    WHISPERING PINES BOULRVARD — (Statesboro) A FedEx package delivered to the wrong address contained suspicious items, and the people who opened it contacted their landlord, who notified deputies. The items were “cooking powders” from West Africa, according to the rightful owner, who was concerned that the package had been opened.
