Incidents
MULBERRY COURT - A woman said Friday her boyfriend threw her to the ground. He was hiding in a nearby apartment when the woman called police. Officers caught him as he tried leaving through a back door and arrested him for battery.
WAFFLE HOUSE/NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST - A 17-year-old female was arrested because she did not comply with an officer's orders to calm down and stop yelling and cursing in front of customers. She was angry over a food order and caused a scene, yelling profanities.
UNIVERSITY PLAZA - Officers saw a fight in front of Rusty's Tavern and activated their patrol car's siren and blue lights. A man involved tried to flee, but he was detained and charged with underage possession of alcohol, disorderly conduct and obstruction.
LITTLE LOTTS CREEK APARTMENTS - A woman involved in a fight walked away from officers who were trying to question her, yelling and cursing in the presence of children. She was arrested.
KMART - Three juveniles were detained for shoplifting three toy spring pistols, ammunition, video game accessories, a cellphone, candy and a Mountain Dew.

Claude Wesley Hardy Jr., 30, Burkhalter Mobile Home Park - wanted person (parole violation).
Joshua Daniel Maynard, 29, Clyo-Kildare Road, Newington - pedestrian under the influence.
Cameron McCoy Williams, 22, Burkhalter Road - criminal trespass, obstruction.

Incidents
KING ARTHUR DRIVE - Two men were arrested on drug charges after being questioned regarding someone striking a mailbox and trash can. Deputies found drugs and paraphernalia in plain sight at the residence where the suspects were located and arrested the two men.
HIGHWAY 67 - Someone was cooking when a grease fire broke out, and the flames scattered when the occupant tried to douse it with water. Statesboro firefighters responded and extinguished the fire.
BARN MOBILE HOME PARK - Someone reported a thermostat wire was intentionally cut on an air conditioner.
SWALLOWTAIL DRIVE - Someone reported nine American bulldog puppies were stolen from an enclosure.

Arrests/citations
Troopers issued two seatbelt citations and 12 total citations.
Demetruis Lavar Mercer, 31, East Chapman Street, Augusta - suspended license, suspended registration, no proof of insurance.
Justin Ray Wilkins, 24, Highway 80 West, Portal - suspended license, seatbelt violation.

Incidents
Troopers investigated 28 crashes with two fatalities and 13 reported injuries and issued a total of 36 warnings, including one for seatbelt violations and 22 for speeding.

Officers issued 29 traffic citations Friday through Sunday.
