Police Report, 6-23-15: A woman reported that her mailbox was knocked down sometime overnight.

Incidents
SEASONS APARTMENTS - A man reported that he laid his phone down in the pool area of the apartments. The victim later returned to retrieve the phone, but it was gone.
RAYMOND STREET - A man reported that someone stole his natural gas tank behind his home.
EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER - An officer responded in reference to simple battery. A woman stated that another woman pulled the nasal cannula out of a man's nose. The man pushed the woman to the ground. A witness said the woman hit the man with a flip flop during the night and attacked him after he refused to give her a checkbook.
RENAISSANCE APARTMENTS - A man reported that an unknown person entered an unsecured residence and stole several ceiling fans and sink faucets.
NORTHSIDE DRIVE - A man reported that two males performed a scam involving a church donation.
CAMBRIDGE: THE PALMS - An officer responded to an active fight in the complex, but upon his arrival, there was no fight occurring. Moments later, the officer heard what sounded like gunshots. He searched the scene and found one live .9 mm round and one .9 mm casing near the scene.
OLLIFF STREET - A woman reported that an unknown man came to her door, acting suspiciously. The man stated he was sent by the apartment manager to do maintenance work, but he was not the normal maintenance person and did not know the correct name of the apartment manager.
SPLASH IN THE BORO - A woman reported that two males passed her a $20 bill. After checking it, she discovered the bill to be counterfeit currency. When she discovered the money to be counterfeit, the two male subjects fled from the scene.
SOUTH MAIN STREET - An officer responded in reference to a shoplifting in which an unknown female walked into the store, grabbed a cup of peanuts and left without rendering payment.
HARWOOD STREET - A man reported that his sons' black Huffy bicycles were taken from their carport. The victim stated the he and his family were home all day and did not see or hear anything suspicious.

Incidents
KENNEDY BRIDGE ROAD - A woman found her mother deceased in her bed. Upon officers' arrival, the coroner was already on the scene.
I-16 - An officer responded to a simple battery call. It was reported that a male and female were involved in an argument while traveling on the interstate. The complainant stated that the man struck her in the face as they argued. He became angry with her when he saw her looking through his phone while he pumped gas at a gas station. No visible injuries were found on the female. The man was found to have an outstanding warrant.
NORTH JACKSON ROAD - A woman reported that her mailbox was knocked down sometime overnight. She stated that it looked like it was done purposefully. The woman also reported that her mailbox has been knocked down on a previous date but that she did not report it when it happened.
VETERANS MEMORIAL PARKWAY/BRANNEN STREET - A woman reported that she and her husband argued over the keys to their vehicle. The woman requested the keys from her husband, but he refused her and walked away in an unknown direction. She stated that he had been drinking alcohol. No physical altercations were reported or observed.
BELL ROAD - A man reported that an unknown person(s) entered an unsecured storage building behind his residence and removed lawn equipment.
SEA PINES APARMENTS - Officers responded in regards to criminal trespassing. Two women stated that the husband of one of them continues to come to their apartment and harass them. One victim stated that she and her husband are in the process of getting a divorce and that she does not want the offender to return to her property.
LANIER DRIVE - A woman reported a theft by taking. The victim stated that her neighbor called 911 due to her having diabetic problems. The woman believes the neighbor stole her HP computer.
TWO CHOP ROAD - A woman reported that she had made contact with another woman about the back door of her residence being messed up. The victim stated that when she returned home, she found that someone had made entry through the unlocked door, and she noticed that her Xbox 360 console and games were missing. The officer made contact with the suspect, who stated that she did not know anything about the Xbox 360 that was taken. The victim stated that the Xbox was only $100, and she does not wish to pursue the case.
HIGHWAY 25 - A man reported that when he returned to his vehicle, which he had left on the side of the road because it had a flat tire, an unknown person was attempting to take the tires and rims off of the vehicle. The complainant told the unknown person to leave, and he did.
FLEMINGTON LANE - A woman reported that she noticed that a wooden board and rope going across her driveway was down, making her believe someone came to the residence. Upon further investigation by the woman, she noticed the door was open and things were scattered in the house. The door to the residence was missing the door handle and does not latch or close. There were several small dents on the front of the door, which appeared to have been hit with an unknown object.
BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE - A woman reported that she and her husband were meeting at the location to exchange custody of their child. The woman stated that her husband exited his vehicle and began threatening her and her boyfriend. There was no physical contact, only a verbal altercation.
BANKS CREEK CHURCH ROAD - A man said that a verbal altercation ensued between himself and an offender. The complainant said that he then left his residence to go to work, and when he arrived back home, he noticed his garage door was damaged. The man said he believes the offender caused the damage with her vehicle. The complainant was unable to provide contact information for the offender and could provide very little information about her.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
Arrests/citations

Officers issued 14 traffic violation citations Friday through Sunday.

Incidents
Officers issued eight traffic warnings and assisted seven motorists Friday through Sunday.
