Incidents
    CAMBRIDGE-AT-SOUTHERN APARTMENTS — A woman said two armed men entered her apartment Saturday and demanded her wallet. The men held her and another victim at gunpoint while they searched her apartment. Police are investigating.
In a separate incident with other people involved, a man reported finding his ex-girlfriend outside his apartment, in the bushes.
    EASTVIEW APARTMENTS — A man kneed a woman in the head, grabbed her phone and smashed it on the floor, the victim told police. She was given information about seeking warrants.
    THE LODGED APARTMENTS — A man and woman were each arrested on battery charges after engaging in a fight.
    THE FLOWER GIRL — Someone reported May 26 a person used a stolen credit card to buy flowers and stuffed animals for Valentine’s Day in February this year. The suspect obtained 36 roses worth $225 and three stuffed animals valued at $60.
    SOUTH MAIN STREET — Someone reported the theft of a Benelli Supernova 12 gauge shotgun.
    OPERATION MEDICINE DROP — Police collected 30 pounds of assorted pills from a drop box located in the police department, where people discard unused, unwanted or expired medications for proper, environmentally-safe disposal.
    WAL-MART SUPERCENTER — A teenage female was arrested June 2 for shoplifting lingerie and other clothing.
    SOUTH MAIN STREET — A man, checking on a residence, found an unknown male inside. The offender was gone before police arrived.
    FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS — A woman told police a man punched her in the eye after accusing her of sending photos to another man. The victim went to the hospital and found her orbital bone was fractured. She also needs surgery to correct nerve damage, reports stated. No arrest was made, but the department’s detectives are investigating further.
    BELK — Friday, a teenage male shoplifted a pair of socks priced at $14, and was arrested.
    LESTER ROAD — A man received a call stating he had won $10,000, but had to wire $250 in order to get it. He sent the cash before realizing it was a scam.
    VISTA CIRCLE — Someone reported the theft of several guns.
    BAY STREET — A woman said her brother struck her and cursed her juvenile children. Police gave her information about securing warrants.

    DANNIE CARTEE ROAD — A woman reported receiving threatening texts from someone angry over a beach incident involving an intoxicated person.
