STATESBORO POLICE
Arrests
    Carl Chavious, 54,  Moody Lane, Claxton — second offense theft by shoplifting.
    Latasha Denise Clark, 31, Peachtree Street — no valid license, brake light violation.

Incidents
BULLOCH COUNTY ANNEX — Someone stole a purse and phone from a car.
    CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN — Someone reported the theft of TVs, cash and jewelry.
    TJ MAXX — An employee was caught giving away merchandise.
    THE LODGE APARTMENTS — A woman said another woman hit her in the head with a baseball bat.
    WALMART — A man was caught shoplifting a pool cover.
    MADISON MEADOWS — A man reported that all four of his car tires were punctured.
    FAIR ROAD — A wallet with identification and cash was found in the street.
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — A man said someone stole cash from his truck.

    SAM TILLMAN ROAD — (Register) A woman reported the theft of a saw, power drill, Weed Eater and other tools.
    TWO CHOP ROAD — (Portal) A man reported a socket set and tool box stolen.
    GA. 24 — (Statesboro) A man reported an air conditioner unit stolen.
    PONY TRAIL — (Statesboro) A man said his child’s mother took paperwork from his car, ran and shoved it in her shirt. He said she slipped and fell in the carport, and he got the paperwork back. She claimed he hit her and ripped her shirt.
    SYDNEY’S CHASE — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a grill, propane tank and accessories.
    GA. 24 — (Statesboro) A deputy awakened a man found sleeping very close to the highway. The man, reeking of alcohol, asked the deputy why he was bothering him. The man was arrested on public intoxication charges.
