Police report - 5-3-15; Euthanized at animal shelter 13 dogs and six cats.

Arrests/Citations
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Robert Leon Cofield III, 18, Chandler Road — obstruction, loitering/prowling.
    Justus Deanthony Cook, 21, Chandler Road — obstruction, loitering/prowling.
    Isiah Rae’Shun Thompson, 18, Chandler Road — obstruction, loitering/prowling.
    Molly Ennis Minick, 19, Georgia Avenue — possession of drug-related objects, marijuana possession.
    Logan Robert Edge, 19, Georgia Avenue — underage possession of alcohol, obstruction.

INCIDENTS
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Wednesday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Metter Police Department
    NORTHWEST BROAD STREET — April 21, officers responded to a report of criminal trespass.
    JAY’S FUEL STOP —  Someone reported a theft by taking incident April 22.
    SOUTH LEWIS STREET — Officers investigated a report of forgery April 22.
    SMITH ROAD — April 22, someone reported a residential burglary. Another burglary was reported April 25.
    HUETT STREET — April 23, someone reported a criminal trespass incident.
    NORTH LEROY STREET  — Police responded to a report of entering auto, with intent to commit theft, April 23.
    NORTH KENNEDY STREET — April 25, someone reported a theft by taking incident.
    EAST WILLOW LAKE DRIVE — Police investigated an incident of interference with government property April 26.

Georgia Southern University Police
    OLD REGISTER ROAD – Police responded to calls about men in masks throwing objects at cars. Three were arrested for obstruction and loitering/prowling. The items being thrown were eggs.

Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of April 20-26:
    Surrendered by citizens  — six dogs and 23 cats from rural county; three dogs and two cats from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by officers —  nine dogs and two cats from rural county areas; one cat from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — five dogs and no cats.
    Reclaimed by owners — eight dogs.
    Died at shelter — four dogs.
    Euthanized — 13 dogs and six cats.
    Fees collected — $570.
