STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests/citations
    Rose McMillan Burke, 51, Savannah Highway, Sylvania — three counts wanted person, marijuana possession.
    Zachary Thomas Frost, 22, North Cromley Road, Brooklet — false imprisonment, battery, criminal trespass.
    Roger Butler Jr., 28, Gordon Street — simple battery, third-degree cruelty to children, criminal trespass.

Incidents
    ASPEN HEIGHTS — A woman reported April 30 that she was harassed via social media. Police did not release the report until May 20.
    DABBS, HICKMAN,HILL & CANNON — A woman told police another female was taking pictures of her car. The offender was given a criminal trespass warning.
    CAMPUS CROSSINGS APARTMENTS — A person reported May 10 a rape occurred Dec. 6 between 11:30 p.m. and midnight. Reports indicated the offender was a stranger to the victim, but reports did not state why the report was not made until May 10 and not released until May 20. The case is under investigation, reports stated.
    NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — A woman reported receiving a call from someone claiming to be an IRS agent, demanding money “immediately.”  Police have received similar reports of similar scam calls.
    GARDEN DISTRICT APARTMENTS — A woman told police her boyfriend struck her, damaged her property and refused to allow her to leave. He was arrested.
    JEWEL DRIVE — A woman said a man shoved her and elbowed her in the face, causing visible injuries.
    FINCH’S TRAILER PARK — Officers responded to a domestic dispute between a woman and her ex-boyfriend.
    GORDON STREET — A woman told police a man shoved her and her mother in the presence of children, and broke several decorative items during a dispute.

    Brian Odell Beniman, 33, Hwy. 80, Brooklet — probation violation.
    Michael Andrew Williams, 20, Horsepen Lane, Guyton — probation violation.
    Christian Karem Bennett, 47, Banks Dairy Road — wanted person.
    Bobby Ellis Dickerson, 62, Thomas Street — simple assault, disorderly conduct.
    Johnny Lee Hagins, 32, Broad Street — marijuana possession.
    Kenetta Renee Weathers, 40, Brannen Road — financial transaction card theft, financial transaction card fraud.
    William Codi Johnson, 21, Magnolia Way — battery.

Incidents
    COUNTRY MANOR — Tuesday, a man told deputies a man he knows threatened him via social media. The offender has a reputation for “messing with people’s cars and stuff” and was angry that the complainant and his girlfriend did not hang out with the offender over the weekend.
    LAWRENCE CHURCH ROAD — A woman called deputies because a young man of whom she had custody threatened her with violence when she said she was going to cut his hair. He went outside, and she found him lying in the roadway. The offender stated he hoped a big truck would come by and run over him, she said. She told deputies he had been a “water head” baby and “they drained too much water and now he is a dry head baby.” Deputies gave the woman advice on treatment for the young man.
    LINDA DRIVE — Deputies responded to a welfare check request and find a man suffering from diabetes, who had an open wound in his foot where toes were amputated, living in a car. He said he stayed there due to “too many people” living in the house.  EMS transported him to a hospital for treatment.
