A man told deputies a “disheveled” man in a loud truck, bass turned up loud and revving his engine, came into his driveway. When the man approached him to ask what he needed, the offender showed an obscene finger gesture and yelled something, then left.

When the man approached him to ask what he needed, the offender showed an obscene finger gesture and yelled something before leaving. The complainant’s wife said the same offender had driven past earlier, acting suspiciously.

▲  JOHNSON STREET — Officers responded to a call about a juvenile child who would not obey.

▲  INSTITUTE STREET — A person was arrested on aggravated assault charges (family violence).


➤ Georgia State Patrol Post 45

▲  Last week, troopers responded to 16 crashes with six reported injuries and one fatality. 

▲  Troopers also arrested 15 drivers on DUI charges and issued nine citations and 12 warnings for seatbelt violations, five citations and two warnings for child restraint violations, and 25 citations and 33 warnings for speeding.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police 

▲  Officers issued one traffic citation and one traffic warning and assisted 12 motorists.
