Police report, 4/10/19
Deputies responding to a complaint of people trying to use fraudulent credit cards stopped a car and arrested three occupants on misdemeanor marijuana charges.

▲ Frank Milton Griffin, 21, Madison Green Drive, Tampa, Fla. — possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

▲ James Howard Masten, 29, Ft. Argyle Road, Bloomingdale — felony probation violation.

▲ Kemuel Jahvon Moore, 25, Lester Road — probation violation.

▲ Javaris Antonio Speaight, 23, North 45th Street, Tampa, Fla. — possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

▲ Sarah Marnique Taylor, 23, North 48th Street, Tampa, Fla. — possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

➤ Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office

▲ HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH — A woman said she and her mother engaged in a physical fight after her mother took her cell phone and ordered her to leave. The complainant had no visible injuries and no arrests resulted from the report.

▲ BURKHALTER/PRETORIA RUSHING ROAD ROUNDABOUT — Someone recovered a handgun and turned it over to deputies.

▲ BROOKLET DENMARK ROAD/HIGHWAY 67 — A woman entered a Dollar General and yelled at an employee, then went into a Zip-N-Go and threatened a clerk with harm after accusing  her of sleeping with the offender’s man. She backed the store employee into a trash can as she threatened her, reports stated. The offender was served with criminal trespass warnings for both businesses.

▲ WEST FOREST CIRCLE — A man and woman argued and he refuse to leave when she demanded. Deputies arrived and the two came to an agreement that the man would leave.

▲ SILK LANE — A man was arrested after a physical fight with a woman, where he reportedly dragged her through a camper, took her phone and interrupted her calls for help. Deputies noticed signs of the struggle, including blood on a bed. The man told deputies the woman cut him, 

▲ HIGHWAY 80 EAST/YAMAHA OF STATESBORO — Deputies responding to a complaint of people trying to use fraudulent credit cards stopped a car and arrested three occupants on misdemeanor marijuana charges.

▲ WALDEN LANE — Someone reported the theft of an American flag and flagpole.


➤ Statesboro Police Department

▲ VARIOUS LOCATIONS — Police responded to 16 vehicle accidents between Friday and Monday.


➤ Georgia Southern University Police

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations and no traffic warnings and assisted one motorist. 

▲ CENTENNIAL PLACE — Someone reported property damage.

Also, police responded to a report of a suspicious person at the clubhouse.
