INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

DOE RUN ROAD - A woman reported having a verbal altercation with an elderly man who was walking down the road. She said she was concerned about his welfare. Family members arrived and took him home, explaining that he does get agitated at times.
HAROLD HOWELL ROAD - A woman reported a burglary, stating an item (undisclosed in reports) was stolen.
R.P. MILLER ROAD - A man reported the theft of an air compressor.
DELOACH CHURCH ROAD - A man told deputies that he was being harassed by his ex-wife's boyfriend.
SOUTHBEND DRIVE - A man reported the theft of two gold wedding bands, two diamond earrings and a watch from his BMW. The car was having its windshield replaced, and the Safelight repairman had left it covered with a piece of plastic.
CIRCLE DRIVE - Deputies responded to a domestic dispute involving two men and a woman.
CYPRESS LAKE ROAD - A woman said that a man grabbed her by the throat during an argument and that he has history of domestic violence. He fled before deputies arrived, but they learned that he has outstanding warrants.
BURNSED ROAD - Deputies responded to a call about "somebody possibly getting thrown out of the back door and then gunshots." Apparently nothing was found; reports listed no further details.

Statesboro Police Department
BELK - A juvenile was arrested for shoplifting $20 in clothing.
WEST MAIN STREET - Four different automobiles were entered, some with items taken. One had a stereo missing, one owner reported nothing missing, and the third said a stereo was missing as well. A fourth person reported four amplifiers missing. The vehicles involved were all located on the 200 block.
ROBIN HOOD TRAIL - A man said that a woman threatened him over bills.
SOUTH EDGEWOOD DRIVE - A woman said someone broke in and stole $15 worth of ping-pong balls.
EAST JONES AVENUE - A woman said a man choked her, leaving marks.
NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST - A woman who had been reported missing by her husband was found sitting under a tree, inhaling air duster from an aerosol can, with burns on her hands. She was highly intoxicated and taken to the hospital. Police assisted Bulloch County sheriff's deputies in the case.
STADIUM WALK APARTMENTS - Police investigated a reported domestic disturbance in which both parties engaged in physical combat.
EAST MAIN STREET - A woman said that a man choked her and slammed her to the ground.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued one traffic citation and four traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Troopers investigated 31 crashes with 17 reported injuries last week and arrested six on DUI charges. They also issued 35 citations and 18 warnings for seatbelt violations, two citations and three warnings for child restraint violations, and 52 citations and 46 warnings for speeding.
