STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Justin Blake Newton, 24, Robert Street, Sylvania — marijuana possession, seat belt.
    Montavious Dwayne Brinson, 23, Jewel Drive —marijuana possession, brake light/turn signal violation.

Incidents
    CAMPUS CROSSINGS — Someone stole a Wii, laptop computer and two bottles of vodka. Another resident reported the theft of a half gallon of vodka, a TV and cable.
    JOHNSON STREET — A woman and her mother argued over consumable goods.
    STADIUM WALK APARTMENTS — Police responded to a report of men shooting at each other. Several were questioned and two were arrested on drug charges. In another incident a man reported a DVD player stolen from his car.
    LEE STREET — A man and woman said two people in different cars stopped at their house, and began cursing and yelling when they could not answer questions.

Arrests
    Patrick Thomas Couch, 18, Chestnut Oak Lane — criminal attempt to commit theft by taking.

Incidents
    TEAL CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies she came home to find all the doors open and evidence someone had been inside. A neighborhood boy admitted going inside and the complainants told deputies she had experienced problems with neighbors and former roommates going inside her home.
    PLANTATION POINTE DRIVE — (Statesboro)Someone reported the theft of salt water pool supplies and equipment.
    PAMELA WAY —(Statesboro)A juvenile has been harassing a family by text.

    RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — Several lost/mislaid items were turned over to officers for safekeeping.
    PHI MU HOUSE — A parking sign was reported stolen from the fraternity house on Olympic Blvd.
