Police report - 4-1-15; Man arrested after striking a university employee in the knee with vehicle

    GENTILLY ROAD —  (Monday, 11:46 a.m.) A man reported two mail boxes stolen from his rental property.
    FRANKLIN CHEVROLET — (Monday, 3:11 p.m.) A man told police a male suspect, listed by name in reports, gave the company three checks to pay for three vehicles. One check was returned for insufficient funds, while the other two checks were not cashed. The suspect obtained titles to the vehicles and sold them, reports stated. Police are investigating the matter.
    VETERANS MEMORIAL PARKWAY — (Monday, 1:44 p.m.) A man was cited for unsecured load (losing the load he was carrying) and for an outstanding warrant for theft by deception as well as not having a valid license.
