Police report, 3/29/19
A woman got a call from a man named “Michael” who told her she won some money and needed to pay processing fees. She ended up sending him $350, and then he called her and told her she was “trash” and a “bad mother” who had no money to feed her kids.

▲ HIGHWAY 301 NORTH — A woman reported receiving a call from someone claiming she owed a balance on a Capital One card. She told deputies she is not familiar with the account, nor is the bank, and she feels the call was a scam.

▲ RAILROAD BED ROAD — A woman got a call from a man named “Michael” who told her she won some money and needed to pay processing fees. She ended up sending him $350, and then he called her and told her she was “trash” and a “bad mother” who had no money to feed her kids.

▲ JOHNSON STREET — A woman told police her friend grabbed her and would not let her go. Officers gave her information on seeking warrants.

In a separate call, a man was arrested for involvement in a domestic dispute.
