▲ FERNWOOD DRIVE — A woman said her children’s father came to her home to see the kids and started a verbal dispute, waking a witness. The witness told deputies the man threatened to come back with a gun before he left on foot.

▲ OLNEY STATION DRIVE — A woman said a man with whom she ended a relationship had continued calling her and visiting her home, uninvited and unwelcome, for months. He recently blocked her vehicle as she was driving and argued with her, she said.

▲ CEDARWOOD ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK — A deputy met with a victim at Southeast Bulloch High School, where the victim showed the deputy texts containing threats. Deputies issued a warrant for the arrest of a person for terroristic threats and acts.

▲ JIMPS ROAD — A man was arrested on charges of public intoxication.

▲ SOUTH WYNN ROAD — A man shot himself in the hand while cleaning a gun he did not know was loaded.

▲ PULASKI ROAD — A woman reported the theft of a check from her mailbox.

▲ MADISEA DRIVE — A man and woman told deputies another male harasses them by yelling obscenities and making derogatory comments. The accused man said he did none of that and did not understand why the complainants were mistreating him. Deputies gave all parties involved information on seeking warrants.

▲ HODGES CIRCLE — Deputies arrested a person involved in a domestic dispute, charging him with criminal trespass.

▲ JESSIE HOLLOWAY ROAD — Investigators were called to this location regarding complaints of sexual battery against a child under 16 and child molestation. The case is under investigation.

▲ DRY BRANCH VILLAGE — Deputies responded to a dispute between neighbors over cats, one woman’s grandson and a threat to call social workers with a complaint.

▲ WEST MAIN STREET — Officers were called to investigate a suspicious activity in which someone reportedly violated school policy.

▲ LORETHA STREET — A woman complained of a neighbor trespassing in her yard and filling jugs of water on a regular basis without permission.

▲ COLLEGE PLAZA — A woman reported the theft of medications.

➤ Georgia State Patrol Post 45

▲ Last week, troopers responded to 21 crashes with seven reported injuries. 

▲ Troopers also arrested three drivers on DUI charges and issued 10 citations and 10 warnings for seatbelt violations, eight citations and two warnings for child restraint violations, and 32 citations and 52 warnings for speeding.

➤ Georgia Southern University Police 

▲ Officers issued three traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted three motorists.

▲ LOT 41 — A person was not arrested but instead judicially referred to university authorities for traffic violations, possession of a false ID and no valid license on person.

▲ SOUTHERN COURTYARD — A person was judicially referred for involvement in a domestic dispute.

▲ CENTENNIAL PLACE — Someone reported a criminal trespass incident.

▲ UNIVERSITY PARK — Someone reported a suspicious person.
