INCIDENTS
Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

BANKS CREEK CHURCH ROAD - A woman who said her husband struck her in the lip was given information about Safe Haven. The man was not at the scene when deputies spoke to her and did not respond when asked by phone to meet with them. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
SHADOW LANE - A woman told deputies that her male neighbor harasses her by making inappropriate comments to her juvenile daughter, confronts her when she comes and goes, knocks on her door at night and takes things from her trash. She said she has found him at her windows and that he carries a gun and comments about it. She said he is in her yard daily.
BUCKEYE LANE - An incident involving an adult male and a group of juveniles is being investigated as a case regarding enticing a child for indecent purposes and child molestation.
PRETORIA RUSHING ROAD - A woman said her child's father came to give his child a kiss. He then told her that she didn't have to worry about him anymore and fired a gun. She didn't know whether he aimed at her or fired into the ground. The man left afterward, she said.
HARVILLE ROAD - A man said his crew was working outside when someone fired several shots, with the bullets landing all around them. Deputies were unable to find an offender.
CROSSWAY COTTAGES - A woman said she blocked another woman online who harassed her on social media, but the complainant came out of Ken's IGA in Brooklet to find a note on her car from the woman that read, "Should I whip her in the store?"
HIGHWAY 301 NORTH - A woman said she argued with a man who was asking her questions she did not want to answer at Jay's Food Mart. She said he followed her into Screven County while aiming a gun out of his car window and firing at her. She said she went to the Screven County Sheriff's Office, but they told her to call the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office because they only had one deputy working. The woman was referred to magistrate court to seek warrants.
BURKHALTER ROAD - A woman said another female chased her children with a stick while they rode past her on a lawn mower. The offender denied trying to hit the kids but admitted cursing at them because they were being loud while she was trying to watch a movie.

Statesboro Police Department
NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST - A woman told police that her friend punched her in the face.
PIEDMONT LOOP - A complainant told officers that a man dressed as a woman stole a cellphone from behind a counter.
TILLMAN PARK CONDOS - A person reported to police that another person has been living in a storage closet.
EAST CHERRY STREET - Someone shattered a sliding glass door and stole a microwave oven.
GEORGIA AVENUE/UNIVERSITY PLACE - An officer caught two men beating a victim, who said they had robbed him. They fled when police confronted them. One man was later apprehended and arrested.
EAST OLLIFF STREET - A person reported the theft of $10,000 and a $10 mailbox from a home.
WAL-MART SUPERCENTER - A person was arrested for shoplifting $64 in hygiene products and $20 in food.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued no traffic citations and nine traffic warnings and assisted six motorists.
