Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    Ronald Chasen McCook, 22, Winding Way — criminal trespass (family violence), obstruction.
    Tyler Joseph White, 23, Rebekah Road — expired registration, no insurance, suspended license.

Statesboro Police Department
    Wade Perry Hawes, 21, Tallokas Road, Moultrie — possession of  schedule III, IV or V controlled substance; drugs not in original container.
    Christopher Powell, 35, West Waters Road, Clito — criminal trespass, theft by taking.
    Brenda Dale Reddick, 57, Denmark Street — obstruction.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    PONDEROSA ROAD — A woman called deputies, claiming she and her husband struggled during an argument about money. She said he charged her and she grabbed an ax, but during the struggle she was hit on the chin by the ax handle. Deputies met her at a neighbor’s residence, and when they went to her home, did not find the man but found an infant crying "frantically.” They noted the woman was covered in dirt, although she said the struggle took place inside, and she was covered in cuts as well. She was also intoxicated, reports stated.
    WINDING WAY — Responding to a call about screaming and loud noises, deputies observed a home in disarray inside and out and saw a broken window, and heard a man screaming at someone. When they knocked, the man locked the door and refused to come out, but a woman did and told deputies all was OK. She appeared frightened, so deputies continued ordering the man outside to talk. He refused, so they entered and arrested him. The man struggled and resisted arrest but was eventually taken to jail.
    OLD RIVER ROAD/DYCHES ROAD — A man reported Spring Creek Lodge had been burglarized and several items were missing.
    KENDRICKS ROAD — A man reported the theft of an African Sulkata turtle he kept in a cage beside his workshop. The turtle was valued at $2,000 and reportedly weighs 40 pounds.
    HIGHWAY 301 NORTH — A woman who said she works at the Savannah/Hilton Head National Airport told deputies someone flashed a green laser at two U.S. Army H60 helicopters that flew about 5 miles north of the Statesboro airport.

Statesboro Police Department
    WHISPERING PINES BOULEVARD — A man reported finding the mulch under his window disturbed.
    PACKINGHOUSE ROAD — A woman called police for help in stopping unwanted texts and calls from an ex-boyfriend in South Carolina.
    STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — A female student was arrested for possession of illegal drugs during a safety sweep. Reports did not specify the type of drug.
    I SAVE MORE FURNITURE — A woman told police her ex-boyfriend came to her workplace, screaming and using “bad language” over a dispute about money.
    WALGREENS — Police are investigating a shoplifting incident where a subject “filled a carrying basket” with unknown items and left without paying.

    Officers issued two traffic citations and one traffic warning and assisted one motorist.
