HILL'S MORTUARY - Someone broke into the funeral home and took food, then took other items from a vehicle, including keys.
SEA ISLAND BANK/FAIR ROAD - A man threatened a teller when she refused him access to an account that was not his own.
MIKE ANN DRIVE - Someone reported an offender threw a beer bottle through a window.
DENMARK STREET - A man told a woman that if she called police again about a civil dispute, her would physically assault her.
ASPEN HEIGHTS APARTMENTS - A woman said a man she knows punched her in the mouth.
SOUTHERN BILLIARDS - Two men were arrested for fighting.
SAV-A-LOT - A shoplifter was arrested after stealing a bag of Munchies chips worth 59 cents.
Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
BOWEN LANE - A man tried to pawn a stolen lawn mower, but due to his history of pawning stolen items, the Metter pawn shop refused his business. The suspect then placed the stolen mower in some woods and later took it back to the mobile home from which he took it. Warrants were issued for his arrest.
BIRD LANE - A gun that a woman reported stolen was found in a ditch and returned to her.
HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH - Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team members attempted to stop a vehicle, but the driver fled on foot into the woods and was not found.
HONEY DEW LANE - A woman reported finding a package left on her porch containing a camouflage jacket with a Newport cigarette box, a fishing cork, $9 in cash and change and two bags of suspected marijuana.
HIGHWAY 24 - A woman went to the hospital for treatment of a cut on her ankle she said she sustained when someone threw a glass object at her.
BUCHAN ROAD - A man said a travel-trailer burned after a heater set a bedsheet on fire. He sustained a burn to his hand while trying to save Christmas presents for his kids but refused EMS treatment.
TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH - A pastor said a man called and threatened attendees of the church. The caller said his father threatened to "shoot up" the church. Another call from the alleged offender's daughter-in-law revealed the offender had threatened to shoot his wife in the head a few weeks earlier. Further investigation revealed the offender was angry because his wife spoke to a male Sunday school member. The offender's wife has sought refuge in a safe house.
Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued two traffic citations and 11 traffic warnings and assisted three motorists.
Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Troopers investigated 46 crashes with eight reported injuries and two reported fatalities Friday through Monday. Troopers also issued two citations and eight warnings for speeding and one warning for seatbelt violations.
