    Allison Michelle Light, 32, Henry Street — driving while license suspended or revoked.

INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police Department
    PACKINGHOUSE ROAD — A woman reported Dec. 23 that, during an argument with her neighbor, her neighbor hit her with her fist. The complainant’s fiancé intervened, and the neighbor’s boyfriend reportedly struck the fiancé in the face.
    EAST PARRISH STREET — After an alert from an alarm company, a man at a sporting goods store reported Dec. 24 that a glass door was broken, but no one had gained entry to the store.
    LANIER DRIVE — Two women in their 20s were reportedly fighting Dec. 24, and police arrested one of them.
    SOUTH MAIN — After an officer checked on a man and a woman yelling in the Red Roof Inn parking lot about 2:20 a.m. Saturday, the man was arrested for public intoxication and the woman for an outstanding warrant.
    WALMART SUPERCENTER — Three separate shoplifting incidents were reported Dec. 24, with the value of the items totaling more than $600. Arrests were made.
    KMART — A woman was arrested Dec. 24 for allegedly shoplifting items valued at about $34.
    WEST MAIN STREET — A Dish Network receiver was reported stolen from a residence.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    FOREST PINES DRIVE — Staying at his parents’ home while they were out of town, a man reported firing a shot at a burglar Dec. 27. The man told police he was sleeping on a downstairs couch when he heard someone tampering with the doorknob. He grabbed his gun and waited for the intruder to walk through. When the door opened, he heard a voice softly say, “Hell yeah,” he told police. The man fired a single shot, which missed the intruder and entered the wall beside the door. He told police the offender, who ran, was an average-size man possibly wearing a hoodie. Police brought in a K-9 officer, but the dog was unable to pick up a scent of the intruder.
    PRINCESS LANE — A woman reported three firearms, including a 9mm Luger, a .45-caliber and .22-caliber rifle, stolen from her home.
    LIVE OAK LANE — A homemade tree stand used for hunting was reported stolen by the owner after a neighbor heard someone cutting down a tree on the property.
    SOUTHBEND DRIVE — A domestic dispute was reported, after which a man was arrested on a criminal trespass charge for allegedly kicking open a door and damaging the doorframe.
    BALL PARK ROAD — A man reported a torch tool, valued at $500, stolen from an old bread truck being used as a shed.

    No new, routine GSU Police reports are expected before Jan. 3 because of the holidays, but the agency’s arrests will be noted, as usual, from Bulloch County Jail reports.
