Maria Villegas, 53, Bell Road, Brooklet — speeding, driving without a license.

GATEWAY POND HOUSE DRIVE/GREAT DANE — A man reported the theft of $20 and two debit cards from his vehicle.
MALLARD POND ROAD — A man reported the theft of a Glock .40 caliber pistol.
SHUMAN ROAD — A woman called deputies to handle her juvenile son, who refused to go with her. She told deputies she called them because she did not want to “fold him up.” The child refused to tell deputies why he did not want to go with her, and cursed, telling them he would go with them instead. He was arrested.
THOMAS VILLAGE – Deputies responding to a domestic call heard yelling and saw a man holding a woman down on the ground, choking her. He was arrested.
BROOMSTRAW TRACE — A juvenile girl started cursing her mother and calling her vulgar names after catching her mother having sex with the mother’s live-in boyfriend. The girl would not calm down and threatened to call the Department of Family and Children Services. She was allowed to leave with a family friend.
SOMERSIDE DRIVE — Deputies responding to a domestic argument met with a man who expressed concern for a woman’s children. The woman said the argument was over her refusing to give the man her EBT card.
