Bulloch County Sheriff's Office

WEST WAY COURT - A woman reported the theft of a firearm from her vehicle.
SINKHOLE ROAD - A man called deputies to request a welfare check on a mentally handicapped adult male whose guardian and stepfather had been hospitalized with a stroke, leaving the victim alone. The victim was given food and assistance and told deputies of abuse he allegedly suffered in the past. Deputies recorded his interview as he spoke about the alleged abuse.
NEVILS-DENMARK ROAD/DOLLAR GENERAL - Two women were in an altercation but had been separated when deputies arrived.
WOODYARD ROAD - A man reported an animal, believed to be a dog, killed 38 chickens.
LONGWOOD DRIVE - A man and woman argued, and the woman told deputies that they had been arguing for days. She said it was time for him to leave. He gathered his belongings and did so.
TEE PEE WAY - Deputies responded to a domestic argument and observed blood on a towel and wall. Two witnesses refused to tell what happened, stating they did not want to be involved. Juveniles were present during the apparent physical altercation. At first the female victim said the blood came from a dog that was being punished, but when deputies saw dried blood on her nose, she said her husband pushed her. The woman was uncooperative with deputies.
KENNEDY BRIDGE ROAD - A man was arrested after deputies spoke with a victim at the hospital who had a bruise and hematoma on her jaw from being struck or pushed very hard.

Georgia State Patrol Post 45
Last week, troopers investigated 18 crashes with seven reported injuries and arrested five on DUI charges.
Troopers also issued 13 citations and one warning for seat belt violations and 23 citations and 18 warnings for speeding.

Statesboro Police Department
RUCKER LANE - A man reported a laptop computer stolen from his home.
LANIER DRIVE - A man said someone shattered his vehicle window with a rock and stole a shotgun.
VARIOUS LOCATIONS - Officers investigated six reported accidents Friday through Sunday, according to records made public by police.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued 12 traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted no motorists.
