STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Incidents
    ASPEN HEIGHTS — A woman reported her ex-boyfriend stalking her.
    SAVANNAH AVENUE — A man said his license plate was stolen.
    BIBLE BAPTIST CHURCH — Officers responded to a scene where one boy had trapped two others in the bathroom. The oldest boy in the bathroom turned off the lights and was hitting the youngest, while the youngest called a teacher for help.
    COPPER BEECH TOWNHOMES — An Xbox was stolen from a residence.
    STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — A student said his tennis shoes were stolen.
WESTOVER DRIVE — (Statesboro) A wallet and all of its contents were stolen from an unlocked car.
    OLD HAPPY LANE — (Brooklet) A woman said someone entered her home and damaged property.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests
    Jay Lee Sampson, 49, Continental Road, Statesboro — possession of marijuana, fleeing or attempting to elude.
    Phillip Dewayne Walden, 36, South Fulton Parkway, Fairburn — possession of MDMA with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, fleeing or attempting to elude, no proof of insurance, reckless driving.
    Walter Henry Weeks, 55, Seed Tick Road, Ellabell — battery, simple assault.

Incidents
    U.S. HIGHWAY 80 EAST — (Brooklet) A man said he is being harassed, through repeated telephone calls, about a vehicle he sold to another man online. The buyer said the vehicle was a “rust bucket” and wanted money back.
    U.S. HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH — (Statesboro) Someone spray-painted graffiti on a utilities control panel.

Arrests
    Troopers issued one seat belt citation and three total citations Wednesday.
    Ryan Thomas Hollis, 19, Acworth — DUI.
    Michael Charles, 20, Macon — DUI.
    Seat belt citations — none.
    Child restraint citations — none.
    Speeding citations — three.
    Total citations — nine.

Incidents
    Crashes — 15, with no reported injuries and no fatalities.

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY POLICE
Arrests
    Officers issued 10 traffic warnings and assisted two motorists Wednesday.
    FREEDOM’S LANDING — A student was judicially referred for alcohol violations when officers were requested during an administrative search conducted by Housing.
In a separate incident, five students were judicially referred for alcohol and drug violations when officers were requested during an administrative search conducted by Housing.
    LOT 21 — An entering auto was reported.
    Officers issued five traffic citations Thursday.
    Amanda Celeste Cappell, 22, Georgia Highway 67 South — wanted person.
    Shane Dillon Watts, 20, South Main Street — DUI, headlights required.

Incidents
    Officers issued 10 traffic warnings and assisted five motorists Thursday.
     EAGLE VILLAGE — A student was judicially referred for an alcohol violation.
