Police report -11-23-16; Someone cut locks on utility trailers and stole hand tools, extension cords

    Dennis De’Shawn Highsmith, 24, Adria Lane, Glennville — felony theft by receiving stolen property, DUI/less safe/glue or vapor; possession of less than an  ounce of marijuana; speeding; failure to maintain lane; no brake lights or working turn signals; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or first offender.

    BRANNEN STREET — Officers reported suspicious activity but reports did not give details.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    R.W. COLLISION CENTER — A man who had been given an advance on pay, but had not finished work, was angry because the business held his tools until the matter is resolved.
    WOODBRIDGE SUBDIVISION — Someone cut locks on utility trailers and stole hand tools and extension cords, some of which were found in a nearby peanut field.
    OLD RIGGS MILL ROAD — A woman allowed another female to stay at her home a few days, and sell items at a yard sale at her home. However, the woman left the home, leaving behind several items including a bag containing several different forms of identification for various people; an assortment of pills including the complainant’s children’s medications and a syringe filled with a red liquid. The suspect was arrested at her home nearby on drug related charges and giving false information. She was also charged with theft by receiving stolen property after a stolen Xbox was discovered in her camper. She was also wanted in Bibb County.
    MUD ROAD — A man was arrested for false report of a crime after he called 911 to report a home invasion. He said there were several men in a red dump truck pulling a tractor and another truck pulling a trailer. He said one had a pistol, one had a rifle, and that he had fled his home through a window. He was on the phone with 911, yelling at someone, “Stop pointing a gun at me!” when a woman took the phone and told 911 operators there was no one there. The woman, a neighbor, said there was no altercation, and the man was on some kind of drug and “freaking her out.” The man was seeing vehicles and people that were not there, asking deputies if they saw them.

    Officers issued no traffic citations and three traffic warnings and assisted four motorists.
