INCIDENTS

Statesboro Police Department
LAQUINTA INN - Police responded to a domestic dispute in which a man would not give his wife her car keys.
SOUTHERN POINT APARTMENTS - A fight among guests resulted in one person being injured. The victim was treated at the scene by EMS.
JOHNSON STREET - Police responded to a reported theft and found the juveniles responsible. The stolen items were returned, and no one wished to file charges.
LANIER DRIVE - Someone reported a burglary during which gaming system items were stolen.
SOUTH MAIN STREET - A man was arrested after someone reported a forgery attempt at an unnamed business.
THE FORUM APARTMENTS - A man and woman each claimed injury was caused by the other during a physical fight. They were given information on taking out warrants.
JOHNSON STREET - After officers stopped a driver for a defective brake light, further investigation resulted in both the driver and passenger arrested on cocaine charges.
HARVEY DRIVE - Officers responding to a reported entering auto incident saw a man fleeing from the vehicles, but they did not apprehend him.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Office
HIGHWAY 80 EAST - A man called deputies to report that another man drove into the complainant's field and got stuck. The complainant confronted the driver, who claimed he was trying to turn around. The vehicle was 150 feet into the field and had passed several opportunities to turn around, the complainant said. He told deputies the offender fled in a silver car, which was later found in Statesboro. Both the driver of the car and the driver of the vehicle stuck in the field were escorted back to the scene. The driver of the vehicle stuck in the field was arrested and had to be forcibly subdued to be placed in the patrol car.
OLD DILL ROAD - A man reported 11 cars on his property had been damaged by someone who shot 21 of the cars' windows out. When deputies heard someone firing a high-powered BB gun, they investigated and found juveniles who admitted to shooting the cars, claiming they thought they were abandoned.
SHUMAN ROAD - Four juveniles at Marcella's Community Home were arrested for fighting.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued no traffic citations and two traffic warnings and assisted two motorists.
