Statesboro Police Arrests

Monday and Tuesday arrests will be published Thursday.


Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests

Anthony Michael Mullen, 17, Ga. 46, Ellabell – affray.

Marvin Lee Prescott Jr., 37, Ben Grady Collins Road, Portal – probation violation, speeding, unregistered vehicle.

Jason Jeremy Key, 31, Pine Street, Sylvania – probation violation.

Oriel Chiquita Selver, 22, Hackamore Drive, Atlanta – driving with a suspended license.

John Patrick Arrington, 20, Bruiser Circle – criminal trespass.

Charles William Liebl, 36, Lucy Lane – disorderly conduct.

Nicolas Angels, 26, The Barn Mobile Home Park – public intoxication.

Jacob Earl Massey, 25, Bas Court – bench warrant, probation violation.

Matthew Paul Mixon, 21, Mixon Road – DUI, open container, failure to maintain lane.

Oscar Louis Henderson, 46, Cotton Avenue – probation violation.

Angel Canel Green, 30, Mathews Road – simple assault, criminal trespass.

Robbie Wayne Whitley, 41, Dry Branch Village, register – bench warrant.

Ronald Dean Williams, 49, Van Buren Street – theft by deception, theft by receiving stolen property.

Kenyatta Lovett, 31, Kennedy Bridge Road, Register – simple battery.


Georgia State Patrol Arrests

Troopers issued 14 traffic violation citations Monday.

Officers issued 14 traffic citations Monday.

Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents

HOOD ROAD – (Statesboro) A man and woman had a domestic spat.

PAMELA WAY – (Statesboro) A woman reported another woman chased her down the road, screaming, and she later discovered her vehicle was damaged.

PRETORIA LANE – (Statesboro) A man said he saw a person standing near the woods near his home, wearing a black mask.

Another resident reported a GPS stolen from her vehicle.

HONEYSUCKLE LANE – (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a wheelchair and chain saw.

BILLY MIKELL ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported a wallet with $417 taken from a vehicle, after someone shattered the window with a glass jar.

WOODYARD COURT – (Brooklet) A woman reported the theft of two TVs, computer, monitor, and DVDs. She said four men entered her home while she was asleep, but one bumped into her hand and she awoke. She dialed 92 after they left.

HIDDEN HILL ROAD – (Register) A woman said a neighbor stole her stainless steel table.

NOTTINGHAM ROAD – (Statesboro) A woman said someone removed her grill from the porch and put it in her yard.

WILLOW HILL ROAD – (Portal) A woman reported the theft of hedge trimmers and copper wiring.

HOLLOWAY LANE – (Statesboro) A woman reported a confrontation with her daughter, whom she said “got in her face.”

GROOVER OLD MILL ROAD – (Statesboro) A woman said a man harassed her by phone, sending threatening text messages.

WALDEN WAY – (Statesboro) A woman said someone knocked over her mail box.

BUCK CREK ROAD – (Statesboro) A woman told deputies she and a man argued over ownership of a home.


Georgia State Patrol Incidents

Troopers issued 21 warnings, assisted two motorists and investigated five crashes with two reported injuries Monday. Troopers also performed two road checks Monday.



Georgia Southern University Incidents

Officers issued two traffic warnings, assisted five motorists, assisted an injured person, responded to one alarm and responded to a drug complaint at Sanford Hall.
 RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER - A nylon bag was taken from the RAC.

Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Monday:

Bulloch County Sheriff's Department- 19 calls.

Statesboro Police Department- 21 calls.

University Police Department – three calls.

Georgia State Patrol – seven calls.

Candler County Sheriff's Department – six calls.

Evans County Sheriff's Department –     calls.


911 Fire Department Reports

Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Monday:

Statesboro Fire Department – four calls.

Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters –six calls.

Metter Fire Department - one call.

Claxton Fire Department - one call.

Hagan Fire Department - one call.



911 EMS Reports

Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Monday:

Bulloch County EMS –one accident call, three fire calls and 11  medical calls.

Candler County EMS – two medical calls.

Evans County EMS – one medical call.

Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Monday:  three calls to Bulloch County First Responders and one call each to Portal Fire Department, Register Fire Department, Nevils Fire Department, Bay Fire Department, Stilson Fire Department, Clito Fire Department.
