Police Report - 10-7-12; Euthanized at the animal shelter seven dogs and 18 cats

ARRESTS
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Brooklet Police
    Mark Daniel Rigdon,22, Davis Road, - driving in violation of conditions of limited permit, leaving the scene of accident with damage, DUI.
    Carmen Leon, 22, Hwy 80 -possession of marijuana, possession and use of drug related object.
    Joe Moreno Viera, 27, Hwy 80, Brooklet public drunkenness, possession of marijuana, possession and use of drug related object
    William Jeffery Fulford, 44, Old Flat Ford Road, Brooklet - suspended license, DUI, failure to maintain lane, cracked windshield.
 
INCIDENTS
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Brooklet Police
Incidents last week:
    Speeding- five citations; DUI- two citations; failure to maintain lane- one citation: seatbelt violation- one citation: hit and run- one citation: driving on limited permit- one citation: cracked windshield- one citation: suspended license- one citation.

Bulloch County Animal Shelter 

    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Sept. 24-30:
    Surrendered by citizens –seven dogs and seven cats from rural areas and one dog and two cats from the City of Statesboro.
    Collected by humane enforcement officers – five dogs and five cats from rural areas and two dogs and six cats from Statesboro city limits.
    Adopted from shelter – three fogs and four cats.
    Reclaimed by owners – two dogs.
    Died at shelter – 12 cats.
    Euthanized – seven dogs and 18 cats.
    Fees collected - $335.
