Police Report - 10-31-13; A man was so intoxicated he vomited on himself and inside the restaurant.

    Julio Ceaser Hernandez, 29, Sandy Way — no driver’s license, defective headlight.
    Willie Edward James, 63, Rountree Street — purchase/possession of cocaine.
    Franklin Dela Cruz, 25, Lucy Lane — wanted person.
    Tina Hicks Donaldson, 44, University Place — wanted person.
    Matthew James Mitchell, 21, Rucker Lane — public intoxication.
    Jared Godley, 21, Chandler Road — wanted person, probation violation.

    STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL — A student reported a purse and MP3 player stolen. Also, a female student grabbed another by the head and slammed her into a wall. The incident is being investigated.
    In a separate incident, a young man was arrested on battery charges after he punched a fellow student in the face.
    STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE — A man said he was working on a cellphone tower when someone began shooting at him with an air rifle. The offenders admitted shooting but said they did not fire at him and didn’t even know he was there.
    THE ISLANDS — A man reported a stereo stolen from a vehicle.
    WEST INMAN STREET — Two juveniles were arrested for battery after attacking another juvenile.
    GNAT’S LANDING — A man was so intoxicated he vomited on himself and inside the restaurant. He was arrested.
    DON CORLEONE’S PIZZA — A woman said her ex-boyfriend visited the restaurant and asked personal questions about her while being served. He left his card there as well, in spite of her having a protective order against him.
    TRANSITIONS LEARNING CENTER — A student was arrested after cursing and causing a scene in class.
    HILL STREET — A man reported the theft of a TV, plastic container, jewelry and firearms.
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — A woman said someone stole a tire, wheel and lug nuts from her car.
    WAFFLE HOUSE/NORTHSIDE DRIVE EAST — A man entered the restaurant and demanded a discount because he said he was a detective, the manager told police.
    DAVITA DIALYSIS — A man sat outside and called the business repeatedly from his cellphone, for no apparent reason. His wife works there.

    Officers issued three traffic citations Tuesday.
    Daren Anthony Vanalstyne Jr., 18, Honeysuckle Lane — entering auto, possession of a firearm in a school safety zone, possession of a gun in the commission of a crime,  marijuana possession.
    Lorenzo Deonte Smith, 20, South Main Street — theft by deception.

    Officers issued six traffic warnings and assisted four motorists Tuesday.
    J-LOT — Officers responded in reference to an entering auto that has just occurred. A description of the offender was given out and the offender was located, then arrested in connection with five different cases.
    FREEDOM’S LANDING — Officers responded in reference to a verbal dispute. Housing personnel was notified and responded. The dispute was mediated.
