STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Daointe Fernandez Collins, 21, Allen Circle – suspended license, failure to obey traffic device.
    Alan Morales, 21, Broad Street, Claxton – open container, defective headlight, driving with no license, possession of a fictitious license, DUI.
    Alan Jesus Rosdas, 26, Broad Street, Claxton – open container, defective headlight, driving with no license, possession of a fictitious license, DUI, giving false information.
    Andrew T. Walker, 20, Bermuda Run - possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance.
    Patrick Madison Arnette, 21, Bermuda Run - possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance.
    Terrione Rashad Benefield, 25, Mike Ann Drive – wanted person, urinating in public.
    Pascual Luciano, 35, the Barn Mobile Home Park – speeding, driving without a valid license.
    Romell Montrice Smith, 28, Pulaski Highway, Register – marijuana possession.

Incidents
    WOODIN NIKEL – A man said he was injured in a fight between unknown persons.
    UNIVERSITY COURT – A TV and two laptop computers were reported stolen.
    CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN – Someone reported people throwing glass bottles from a balcony.
    UNIVERSITY PLAZA – A man caught urinating in public was found to have outstanding warrants.
    THE GRILL – A man said four people approached him, said fighting words and attacked him. During the attack, his phone went missing.
    DENMARK STREET – A woman said a man choked her and broke her cellphone.
    ENMARK/NORTHSIDE DRIVE WEST – A man shoplifted a bottle of Wild Irish Rose wine.
    UNIVERSITY VILLAS AT SOUTHERN – Someone stole $40, a laptop computer, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
    VANDY’S ON VINE – Someone stole 47 wooden pallets.
    24 EAST – A woman said a man choked her during an argument.
    WILBURN CIRCLE – A man reported a white 2000 Chevrolet Silverado work truck stolen.
    SOUTH WALNUT STREET – A man reported the theft of a generator.
    NORTH COLLEGE STREET – A man told police he was intervening in an argument between his sister and nephew, and they both fell off the porch steps. As he helped them up, an unknown man ran into the yard and struck him in the mouth, he said.
In a separate incident someone reported the theft of shoes, an Xbox, related games and a cellphone.
    WALMART – Someone wrote “I love you” and “Beautiful” on a woman’s car windows and let the air out of one of her tires.
    BEDFORD STREET – A woman said her juvenile son saw another juvenile pour bleach on some clothing.

Arrests
    Perry Vernon Cobb, 45, Metter – DUI (.198).
    Antonio Marques Roberts, 22, Raymond Street – DUI (.144)
    Matthew Gregory Martin, 22, Tarrytown – DUI (.096).
    David Alexander Tootle, 25, Georgia Highway 24 – DUI (.177).
    Troopers issued one seat belt citation and nine speeding citations.

    Child restraint citations — two.
    Speeding citations — eight.
    Total citations — 27.

Incidents
 Between Friday and Sunday, troopers investigated 21 crashes with three reported injuries; stopped 50 vehicles; patrolled 2,512 miles; issued two seat belt warnings and 20 speeding warnings; and assisted two motorists.

Arrests
    Officers issued 5 traffic citations Friday - Sunday.
    Samuel Lucas Davis, 19, Loganville - underage possession of alcohol, obstruction.
    Alex J. Keen, 19, address unlisted (Statesboro) – underage possession of alcohol, possession of a fake ID.
    Michael William Rettker, 20, Alpharetta - underage possession of alcohol, possession of a fake ID.
    Matthew Michael Petrillo, 19, Alpharetta - underage possession of alcohol.
    Brandon Christian Long, 19, address unlisted (Statesboro) underage possession of alcohol, obstruction.
    Philip Kent Clements, 25, Richmond Hill - obstruction.
    Kiel S. Schultheiss, 24, Atlanta - criminal trespass, obstruction.
    Eric Wesley Sikes, 18, Ellabell - underage possession of alcohol, giving false information to an officer.

Incidents
    Officers wrote eight traffic warnings, assisted 15 motorists and wrote two parking citations at Paulson Stadium.
    Officers took reports for several thefts around campus.
    GEORGIA AVENUE/HARVEY DRIVE - 
An officer discovered an intoxicated subject at Georgia Ave and Harvey Drive.  
    CENTENNIAL PLACE - Officers responded to the bike rack near C Lot in reference to three intoxicated subjects.
    PAULSON STADIUM - An officer made contact with a subject with a pocket knife at the stadium. The knife was turned over to the officer and placed in the police department property room for the subject to pick up at a later time.
    Also, an officer made contact with a subject with a corkscrew opener at Paulson Stadium. The corkscrew opener was turned over to the officer and placed in the police department property room for the subject to pick up at a later time.
    EAGLE VILLAGE – A disorderly person was arrested.
    SOUTHERN COURTYARD - Officers responded to the wooded area between Kennedy Hall and Southern Courtyard on Lanier Drive in reference to a strong-arm robbery. EMS was notified and responded. This case was turned over to criminal investigations.
