ARRESTS
Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia State Patrol arrests made Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Brooklet Police Department
    The department reported the following arrests during the week of Sept. 30 to Oct. 6:
    Josh Mills, 17, East Lane Street — no driver’s license, speeding.
    Jennifer Nicole Beasley, 30, Goliad Road, Sylvania — defective windshield, wanted person.
    Michael Edwin Newton, 56, Brooklet-Leefield Road, Brooklet — open container, second offense DUI.
    Adrian Herera, 31, Cody Lane, Brooklet — open container.
    Ernesto Dejesus Gonzaga, 27, U.S. Highway 80 — giving false identity information to law enforcement, open container.
    Servando Hernandez, 49, U.S. Highway 80 — wanted person, no driver’s license, tag light requirement.
    Javier Castro, 27, U.S. Highway 80 — open container.

INCIDENTS

Brooklet Police Department
    The department reported the following activity during the week of Sept. 30 to Oct. 6:
    No driver’s license — two citations.
    Tag light requirement — one citation.
    Open container — four citations.
    No proof of insurance — one citation.
    Following too closely — one citation.
    Defective windshield — one citation.
    DUI — one citation.
    Giving false information — one citation.
    Speeding — three citations.

Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Sept. 30 to Oct. 6:
    Surrendered by citizens — three dogs and 25 cats from rural county areas; two dogs and nine cats from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by officers — 15 dogs and seven cats from rural county areas; three dogs and one cat from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — eight dogs and five cats.
    Reclaimed by owners —six dogs.
    Died at shelter — two dogs and four cats.
    Euthanized — 20 dogs and 35 cats.
    Fees collected — $900.
