Police Report - 10-10-12; A white 2011 Chevrolet Silverado truck was stolen

STATESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
    Savannah E. Shaw, 18, Grimshaw Lane, Brooklet — theft by shoplifting.
Aaron Williams Cooler, 18,         Glenwood Place, Canton — possession of a Schedule II drug, marijuana possession.
    Lauren Olivia Tingler, 18, Adams Drive, St. Simons Island — possession of a schedule II drug, marijuana possession.
    John Thomas Lambert III, 18, Spivey Ridge Circle, Lake Spivey — no brake lights, marijuana possession.

Incidents
    LANIER/VETERANS MEMORIAL PARKWAY — A woman reported being raped and robbed of a purse containing a cellphone, $250, glasses and more. Reports did not give details except that the case has been turned over to the criminal investigations division.
    THE POINTE AT SOUTHERN — A man said four other men, two with guns, robbed him of credit cards and other items as he knocked on the door of his friend’s apartment. He said they demanded “weed” from him as well, but he said he had none and handed them his wallet. In a separate incident a man said a suspect applied something from a hand lotion bottle to his door knob and window.
    PLANTATION VILLAS — A woman reported a burglary in which someone took a vacuum cleaner and food.
    COPPER BEECH — Someone stole a watch, sunglasses, a book bag and contents from a vehicle.
    PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — Someone stole a sofa and TV.

BULLOCH COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Arrests
    Reggie Renea Grimes, 27, North Church Street — probation violation.
    Debbie Denise Lynch, 20, Pine Hollow Drive, Augusta — theft by taking.
    Henry Calvin Preston, 47, Waynesboro Highway, Sylvania — possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
    Kenneth Barnard Mikell, 26, Hope Baptist Church — marijuana possession, possession of drug-related objects, headlights and taillights violations.

Incidents
    POWELL PLACE — (Statesboro) Someone stole an iPod Shuffle from a vehicle. Another resident reported coins stolen from another vehicle. A third victim said someone shattered a car window and took a wallet. A fourth victim reported the theft of a “fish finder” after offenders broke his vehicle window. Other residents reported similar incidents.
    ADDISON TRAIL — (Statesboro) Two unlocked vehicles were ransacked, but nothing was taken. Other residents reported similar incidents.
    CHINABERRY COURT — (Statesboro) A camouflage bag, binoculars, hunting knives and another sports bag were stolen from cars.
    HILLWOOD DRIVE — (Statesboro) A white 2011 Chevrolet Silverado truck was stolen. The truck was left unlocked and keys left in the console. It was recovered at Forest Heights Country Club.
Other residents reported automobile break-ins where various items were stolen.
    HONEYSUCKLE LANE — (Statesboro) Someone shattered a car window, but nothing was stolen. Other residents reported similar incidents.
    CAROLINA TRAIL — (Statesboro) A red 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer was stolen. Other residents reported automobile break-ins in which various items were stolen.

Arrests
    Officers issued two traffic citations Monday.
    Jiva Jahnava Fein Jr., 19, Evans — headlight requirement violation, driving with a suspended license.

Incidents
    Officers issued one traffic warning and assisted five motorists. Also, an officer wrote one parking ticket for improper parking at Paulson Stadium.
