M.P. MARTIN ROAD - A woman ran through the woods to a neighbor's home to ask for help and use the phone to call 911. When her husband followed her, the neighbor pulled a gun and ordered him off the property, unsure of who he was or what he intended to do. The couple had been arguing, and the woman was planning to leave. She asked deputies to assist her in retrieving her car from the M.P. Martin Road home.
MARIA SORRELL ROAD - A woman said another woman struck her, causing a bloody nose and lumps on her head.

Statesboro Police Department
SOUTH MAIN STREET - A woman called police when an unknown man beat on her door. Officers found the intoxicated man bleeding from several cuts he sustained after apparently breaking the windows of a nearby building. He was arrested after being treated at a hospital.
 CHURCH STREET - A resident called police about people walking on the complainant's property after being told to leave.
 EL SOMBRERO/BUCKHEAD DRIVE - An intoxicated man found sitting in his running vehicle was charged with DUI.

Georgia Southern University Police
Officers issued one traffic citation and one traffic warning and assisted one motorist.
