Statesboro Police Arrests
* Darius Paul Anderson, 24, Doe Circle, Springfield – no proof of insurance, canceled registration, wanted person.
* Hayward Jarquail Smith, 28, Harwood Street – robbery by sudden snatch.
* Eric Brinson, 44, East Jones Avenue – probation violation.
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
* Arrests Wednesday and Thursday will appear in Saturday’s report.
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
* Troopers issued one traffic violation citation Wednesday.
Georgia Southern University Arrests
* Officers issued one traffic citation Wednesday.
* Joshua Dylan Fowler, 21, Skipper Road, Ludowici — DUI and reckless driving.
* Kevin Bernard Hunt, 19, Atlantic Station, Atlanta — theft by taking.
Statesboro Police Incidents
* DAILY GRIND – A woman reported a purse stolen.
* LEE DRIVE – A resident said someone broke into a car and rambled through hit, but took nothing.
* LOW COUNTRY BILLING – Someone damaged screens at this East Grady Street location.
* UNIVERISTY PLAZA – A man at Henry’s Haircuts watched Dash’s towing remove his car even though he was parked to do business at the barbershop. The towing company said the car was parked in a spot that was not meant for the barbershop. A man admitted being hired to monitor the parking lot and call Dash’s when a parking violation is seen.
* VISTA CIRCLE – Someone stole a heating and air condition unit.
* CARMEL DRIVE – Someone stole a purse from a car.
* MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. BOULEVARD – A woman said a man touched her breasts in an insulting manner.
* THE GROVE APARTMENTS – A stereo was stolen from a car.
* MOORE INSURANCE – Someone broke in, ransacked the business, but took nothing.
* WIGGINS OFFICE EQUIPMENT – Someone broke in and rambled around but took nothing.
* THE LODGE APARTMENTS – A man said a woman who was fighting with her boyfriend took refuge in his apartment. The boyfriend came looking for her and kicked in the man’s door. The same complainant told police in another incident a man assaulted him, leaving visible bruises, because the offender was intoxicated and wanted into the apartment.
* POJO’s – A man came into the West Main Street convenience store and stuck a box of Trend laundry detergent in his pants. He tried buying a cigar, but the clerk refused the sale and asked him what he had in his pants. He didn’t answer, but fled.
* MADISON MEADOWS – Police responded to a domestic dispute that got physical. No one was arrested, however.
* KAY JEWELERS – An internal investigation into missing inventory is being held and police responded, but no witnesses said they had knowledge of the missing items.
* GARDEN DISTRICT – Two female roommates did not get along, so each girls’ family came to help them settle the dispute. The girls’ fathers got into a physical fight after tempers flared, and one was pushed into a glass window, cutting his elbow. He didn’t press charges, though.
Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
* LAKEVIEW ROAD – (Statesboro) A man said someone removed screens form his windows.
* ELDORA CEMETERY ROAD – (Ellabell) A woman reported someone broke in but took nothing.
* PULASKI ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of several guns.
* GA. 67 – (Statesboro) A vendor of Zip N Foods said his manager yelled at him and ordered him out of the store. Then the manager grabbed his shirt. The manager told deputies the vendor bumped into a shelf and that is why he was angry.
* REHOVIA CHURCH ROAD – (Portal) A man reported the theft of an air conditioner unit from the church.
* COCKATOO DRIVE – (Statesboro) A woman said someone kicked in her door and made holes in her drywall.
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
* Troopers issued 14 warning, assisted three motorists and investigated two crashes with no injuries Wednesday.
Georgia Southern University Incidents
* Officers issued three traffic warnings, assisted eight motorists and responded to four alarms Wednesday.
* HERTY DRIVE — A headlight was taken from a vehicle in the parking lot.

* Bulloch County Sheriff's Department —10 calls.
* Statesboro Police Department — 27 calls.
* University Police Department – no calls.
* Georgia State Patrol – five calls.
* Candler County Sheriff's Department – five calls.
* Evans County Sheriff's Department – six calls.
* Claxton Police Department – two calls.
* Brooklet Police Department – one call.
